8:20am: Kathy Twohig from Habitat For Humanity checked in to talk about a great event to support the organization on Friday night
Windows of Opportunity
Habitat For Humanity of Fond du Lac County will be holding their second annual Windows of Opportunity event at the Windhover Center for the Arts on Sheboygan Street in Fond du Lac. This unique fundraiser is in partnership with area artists who have chosen windows, doors, end tables, planter boxes and other donated items from the Habitat ReStore to create a re-purposed, one-of-a-kind master piece. The public is invited to the opening reception on Friday, March 5th from 5:00 to 8:00pm and will include live music and refreshments. The opening reception will kick off the exhibit which will run until April 9th. Mark your calendar for the closing reception with a live and silent auction of the items to be held on Friday, April 9th from 5:00 to 8:00pm Proceeds from this event will benefit the two house builds this summer.
