7:10am: Dan O'Brien called in to preview the Shepherd of the Hills Country Style Chicken Dinner. Country Style Chicken Dinner
Shepherd of the Hills Parish is holding a Country Style Chicken Dinner from 11:00am to 1:30pm, at W1562 Country Road B, six miles east of Eden. There will also be a country store, a quilt raffle, and bingo games will be held at the event. Admission is $8.50 for adults, $4 for kids under 12, and kids under four eat free. Price includes a beverage and dessert, and carryouts are available.

7:20am: Del Waldschmidt joined me to talk about Saturday's Kiwanis Club Brat Fry at PDQ in North Fondy. It runs from 9am to 4pm and benefits the Kdis-Be-Fit organization. If you have an order of $20 or more they will deliver. Call in those orders to Del at 960-0156.
