Graduation-No Cheering
ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say seven people attending
high school graduations in South Carolina are facing charges after
police say they cheered while students' names were being called.
Authorities say six people at Fort Mill High School's graduation
were charged with disorderly conduct Saturday and a seventh was
charged for a disturbance at the graduation for York Comprehensive
High School.
Police say those arrested yelled after students' names were
called while diplomas were handed out.
A police spokesman says school officials request police patrols
to prevent graduation disruptions that include standing, hollering
and clapping.
He says those attending the commencements are told their
behavior can be prosecuted.

8:04am: A recent survey by Sperling's Best places found that 50% of men would rather give a speech in front of a large crowd than go bald. 5% said they'd rather fall of of a cliff and 20% said they would give up TV if it would prevent them from losing their hair.
