6:50am: Adam Hinz of Fond du Lac won a four pack of tickets to Festa Italiana at the Summerfest Grounds and a stars and stripes pack from Betty Crocker.

7:04am: According to the American Automobile Association or Triple-A, 40.45 million people will be hitting the roadways this Fourth of July weekend. That's down 1.3% from last year. Triple-A says 13% of the U.S. population will be on the road this holiday weekend. About 85% of all holiday travelers will do it by automobile. That's down 1.2% from 2007.

Brian is closing hte store early on the 4th of July at 3pm so get your orders in early. He's open normal hours on Saturday.

7:25am: CW Smith Jewelers Birthdays: Tom Cruise is 46...Actor Tom Gibson (Criminal Minda, Dharma & Greg0 is 46...Montel Williams is 52.

7:48am: Ticket Window Thursday: Dean Jaber of Fond du Lac won a pair of tickets to the Brewers Game on August 10st by knowing that on May 29th, 2006 Prince Fielder hit a homer round out of Pittsburgh's PNC Park and into the Allegheny River.

BURGLAR YARD SALE
OCALA, Fla. (AP) - Fred and Betty McAteers didn't have go too
far to find their stolen stuff. Someone broke into the house they
own in Ocala, Florida. The following day they walked around the
neighborhood to see if anyone knew anything about it. Then, they
found their dresser at a yard sale in front of an apartment
building. They called police, who busted 22-year-old Branden
Mitchell Gardiner. He's now charged with residential burglary and
dealing in stolen property.

8:11am Denise Schaefer of the Fond du Lac Salvation Army checked in to preview next Tuesday's Packer Tailgate Party at Fond du Lac High School. Packers James Jones, Jason Spitz and Brandon Jackson will be on hand along with Team President Mark Murphy and former President Bob Harlan. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Festival Foods. All proceeds benefit the Fond du Lac Salvation Army. The ticket also includes a burger or brat and a drink. for more info call 923-8220.

Also Matt Diederichs of Fond du Lac won the #1 Packers Fan contest and he wins a ticket to the event and will be able to ask the first question during the Q&A session on Tuesday night.
