6:17am: Karl's Weather Forecast: Partly sunny skies today with a high of 75. Some rain and thunderstorms could move in later tonight. Rain on Wednesday with a high of 65.

6:25am: Entertainment News: Filming has begun on High School Musical 3 over the weekend in Salt Lake City...ABC has cancelled the Anne Heche anchored show "Men In Trees" after two seasons on the air...Mariah Carey has cancelled her scheduled visit on the view because of rumors that she got married to actor Nick Cannon...Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton delivered David Letterman's Top Ten list last night.

6:40am: KFIZ History Vault: In 1915 Babe Ruth hit his first Major League home run...IN 1937 The Hindenburg airship caught fire and crashed, killing 36 of the 97 poeple on board...In 1889 The Eiffel Tower was dedicated in Paris.

Did you know: The designer of the Eiffel Tower wanted to build it in Barcelona, Sparin but a proposal was rejected...It was suppose to be torn down in 1909 but French officials decided it could be used as a radio tower.

7:04am: Josh Tiner won a pair of tickets to see the Packers Green Machine Basketball Team captained by Ruvell Martin play the Fond du Lac All-Stars on Monday night at Fondy High. You can purchase tickets in advance at Fond du Lac High School, Hoppers in downtown Fond du Lac, and at the KFIZ Studio. They are $15 for adults and$12 for students. They are $20 and $15 at the door.

7:25am: Celeb Birthdays: Actor George Clooney is 47...Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron is 53...Former British Prime Minster Tony Blair is 55...Rocker Bob Seger is 63...Baseball Hall of Famer Willie Mays is 77.

7:50am: The Packers aren't the only ones retiring Brett Favre's #4 jersey. A 12-year old Connecticut kid is also giving up his Favre jersey. David Witthoft wore his Favre #4 jersey for 1,581 straight days since getting it for Christmas in 2003. David last wore his jersey on April 23rd, his 12th birthday. David and his father plan to be at the game on September 8th when Favre's jersey is officially retired.
