6:17am: Karl Klopotic's Forecast: Partly sunny with a high of 60. Tonight, increasing clouds with a low of 40. Friday: Mostly cloudy with a high of 60.

6:25am: Entertainment News: Reports say that Ryan Seacrest may be in line to replace Larry King on CNN. MSNBC says the move could happen as early as next year. Seacrest has filled in for King when he was on vacation. Larry King recently signed a contract extension through 2010....NBC's "Scrubs" is coming to an end tonight, at least on NBC as the series finale airs tonight after 7 yeras on the air. There are reports that ABC may pick up the show...The final episode of Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101" drew 5.1 million viewers. The show staring Jamie Lynn Spears is ending because the 17-year-old star is expecting a child this summer.

6:40am: The KFIZ History Vault: In 1886 the first batch of Coca-Cola was created...In 1956 Alfred E. Newuman first appeared as the new mascot of MAD Magazine...In 1970 The Beatles released their final album, "Let It Be."...In 1945 President Truman announced in a radio address that World War II had ended in Europe.

6:50am: KFIZ News Quiz: Andy Hintz was today's winner of the news quiz!

7:04am: Mary Maine of Fond du Lac won a pair of tickets to see the Packers Green Machine take on the Fond du Lac All-Stars on Monday night at Fond du Lac High School.

7:50am: According to a recent survey 3 of 4 consumers prefer to cook outside on the grill when the weather gets warmer and they are entertaining friends. 82% of those asked prefer to cook burgers on the grill. Steak was 2nd, followed by chicken, and hot dogs.

8:28am: Mike Giebel correctly knew that Dale Svuem was the Brewers 3rd base coach and won a pair of tickets to see the Brewers and Braves at Miller Park on May 27th.
