6:18am: Karl Klopotic's Weather: Windy with gusts to 30+ mph...mostly sunny with a high of 69.
6:25am: Entertainment News: Priscilla Presley was booted off of Dancing with the Stars...Sylvestor Stallone has been called to jury duty in Los Angeles but was dismissed...ABC has added one more episode to this year's season of Lost and Grey's Antatomy.

6:40am: The History Vault: In 1929 The NY Yankees became the first baseball team to put #s on their jerseys...In 1940 Cleve;and's Bob Feller no-hit the White Sox on Opening Day...In 1962 Walter Cronkite debuted as anchor of the CBS Evening News.

6:50am: KFIZ News Quiz Winner: Karen Holzmann won a pair of Magnacraft binoculars for correctly knowing that the Pope was visiting the White House today.

7:18am: The Packers schedule is out. Green Bay has four prime time games this year. Mon. Sept. 8th against Minnesota at Lambeau. Sunday night, September 21st against Dallas in Green Bay. Mon. November 24th at New Orleans and Monday, Dec. 22nd at Chicago. The Gold Package games for Milwaukee season ticket holders are the Dallas game and the Bear game on November 16th. 7:25am: Celeb Birthdays: Peter Billingsley (Ralphie from A Christmas Story) is 36...Comedian Martin Lawrence is 43...Kareem Abdule-Jabbar is 61...Bobby Vinton is 73.

7:50am: A Florida woman is suing a restaurant over the fact that a 275 pound man fell on her as he danced on the bar. The women says she hurt her shoulder and needs surgery. The woman's lawyers says that this is more common than you think and people shouldn't be allowed to dance on the bar if people are eating. KFIZ News man Bob Nelson says that he has danced on a bar before, but never on a restaurant in Florida...so he's off the hook.

8:50am: Did you know that more than 7 million Americans are vegetarians. A study by Vegetarian Times says thats about 3.2% of Americans. About 1 million of those people are vegans, which means they consume no animal products at all. 42% of vegetarians are between the ages of 18 and 34.

Jim Cleveland stopped by from the Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce to preview the upcoming Job Fair coming up on May 6th at Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac.

What happened to Jerry St. John? Did he get let go for economic reasons?

Jerry did a very good job in the community.
