6:25am: Entertainment News: CBS News Anchor Katie Couric insists she's staying in the anchor chair despite rumors of her exit...Businessman Stephen Palettas was the big winner on Oprah's "Big Give" finale last night on ABC. Paletta was given $500,000 and another $500,000 to give to charity...Super Bowl champ Eli Manning got married over the weekend to longtime girlfriend Abby McGrew in Mexico.

6:40am: This History Vault: In 1789 John Adams was sworn in a the first Vice President of the United States...In 1878 the first fire pole was installed into a New York City fire station...In 1918 the famous WWI piolot, the "Red Baron" was shot down...In 1956 Elvis had his first #1 hit with Heartbreak Hotel...In 1986 a national TV audience saw Geraldo Rivera open Al Capone's Vault at a Chicago hotel to find nothing but dust and a few empty bottles.

Red Baron Facts: His real name was Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richtenhofen...He was born in Germany and his military training at the age of 11...He shot down over 80 enemy planes, but was killed by a single bullet during a dogfight over northern France. His plane was dismantled bys ouvenior hunters after it was discovered on the ground.

6:50am: KFIZ News Quiz Winner: John Schneider of Fond du Lac correctly knew that KFIZ's won the Associated Press Division Three Award for Best Sports Story in 2007 for "Fruth Field Rededicated."

7:18am: A new survey shows that only 19% of women say that they met their most recent boyfriends at a bar. Nearly 25% say that they would be embarassed to say that they met their recent beau's at the bar. More than 50% of those asked said the best place to meet a boyfriend was at a coffee shop. A bookstore and gym were 2nd and 3rd on the list of where they would shop for a boy-toy. 69% of women asked said they like to let a guy know they are intersted in them by smiling at them or making eye contact. 23% said they will ask for the time to strike up a conversation.

7:25am: Celeb Birthdays: Queen Elizabeth II is 82...Singer Iggy Pop is 61...Actor Tony Danza is 57...Former Pro Wrestler Brutus Beefcake is 50...Actor Andie MacDowell is 50.

7:50am: It took Angeline Prince more than 60 years but she finally got to go to the prom! The grandmother in Clarksville, Tennessee was the guest of her teen grandson Cody McGraw. Now Cody has a girlfriend but wanted to take his grandmother when he found out she couldn't afford to go to her prom when she was in high school. Cody took his grandmother and girlfriend out to dinner, but then escorted his grandma to the big event. Despite recent knee surgeries, Angeline says that she was still planing on getting out on the dance floor to boogie!

8:20am: Kay from the Volunteer Center of Fond du Lac County stopped by to chat about last week's Youth Service Day in Fond du Lac. Jordan Fatke, a senior at Fond du Lac High School also was in studio to talk about the day's events.
