Packers Make A Pick....
With the 36th Pick in the NFL Draft, the Packers make their first selection of the day. It's Jordy Nelson a wide receiver out of Kansas State....He's a tough kid who caught 122 balls for 1606 yards and 11 touchdowns last year at Kansas State. He stands 6'2, and weighs 217 pounds. He catches everything thrown to him and he plays special teams and returned a pair of punts for scores in 2008. Ted Thompson sticks to his guns of taking the best available player. They had the "Fab Five" at WR but now we'll see how that shakes out when we hear from the Packer GM. Driver, Jennings, Robinson, Jones, Martin...now Nelson.....Martin or Robinson may be looking for work.
