FCA At Fondy High Info

Thanks to Bob and Sue Mathews for stopping in on Tuesday to talk about the creating of a Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter at Fond du Lac High School.

Here's the info they asked me to pass along...

Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FCA as it is called, is the largest sports ministry in the world.  Since 1954, FCA has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, and high school level to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ – touching millions of lives… one heart at a time.  FCA’s  four core values are Integrity, Serving, Teamwork, and Excellence.

Our hope and our prayer is that this ministry will bring encouragement, the hope of Christ, character and leadership development, fun and positive large group gatherings, and exemplary sportsmanship to the student athletes at Fond du Lac High School.  We hope to achieve this through student lead Biblestudy “Huddles” at Fondy High School, quarterly “Big Gatherings” with pizza dinners & guest Sports Speakers, and FCA Summer Sports Camps and Leadership Camps.
