7:10pm: The NFL Draft is underways...the Panthers as expected too Auburn's Cam Newton with the first round pick. The Packers have the 32nd pick in the first round. The odds are good that the Packers dont end up with that pick. With 9 picks over the next few days and very few roster spots, GM Ted Thompson could move up and package some of those picks if a player he wants is available. If when #32 comes up and one of the quarterbacks is there expect a team to come and get the pick and possibly deal a pick in next years draft for it. If Green Bay does keep the pick I see them taking OL Danny Watkins out of Baylor.

7:20pm...had to eat supper at Buffalo Wild Wings tonight...as I decided to believe a fellow media member about no pre-draft mean at Lambeau...had 2 dozen wings then came back to find the nice Italian spread in the break room....darn.....i'll dive in there soon since the Packers won't be doing anything for a while.......

Shepherd of the Hills Parish is holding a Country Style Chicken Dinner from 11:00am to 1:30pm, at W1562 Country Road B, six miles east of Eden. There will also be a country store, a quilt raffle, and bingo games will be held at the event. Admission is $8.50 for adults, $4 for kids under 12, and kids under four eat free. Price includes a beverage and dessert, and carryouts are available.
